This gift honours my late father who forsook business pursuits to teach economics, and once lectured at the Bukit Timah campus. His devotion to the educational advancement of myself and others inspired me to establish a scholarship to enrich the experience and research contributions of graduate students at NUS.
Dr Sunlin Chou and Mrs Priscilla Chou set up the K R Chou PhD Scholarship at the Department of Economics in the memory of his father.
